It depends - on a normal concert, wait after the gig near the backstage door to get in (if you don't get backstage pass, like one fan got from Prague). on festivals there are sometimes meet&greet sessions, if not then...

but the first thing doesn't always work. You have to have luck.

Another technique is to wait either
1) outside the venue. This is not always possible, but sometimes yes.
or
2. at their tourbus. This comes difficult if you don't know what it looks like.

Remember also that sometimes you aren't able to meet every member. If some member is for example sick he/she probably won't show up and that's better for both of you. If using technique 1, some members might leave earlier than some and thus you aren't able to meet everyone. But usually if you have the chance, you will meet all, but just to let you know this side of the thing too. :)

The more people who want to go backstage or who are at the backstage, the less chance there is for you. But I think everyone would like to go backstage so whatever. It just depends on your luck.

With my technique 1 there can really be a lot of people (10-15?) with the band. But this method is "available" very seldom on just some gigs depending usually on the venue.

Usually there are around 10 people on a Meet n Greet, this depends on the city too - if it is at a large city with a big crowd, the groups is probably bigger than in a small town.

The easiest and best way to get there is to get on the guestlist - back in the days it was easy enough to just ask a bandmember on the forum, I dont think however that works today.
Else you ask their tourmanager, he tends to be real nice and let some people in (unless the guestlist is all checked in and its a big crowd already)

But yes, its like the other said: A lot of luck, and good timing. Thats all you need. and Courage! Ask anyone with a Lordi laminate pass that you see. ANYONE. And dont settle with a No.. Ask more people if one say No.

By experience, the bus first you have to wait long even sometime very long. Second when there is a snow storm you really need motivation. Third if you don't know how they look unmasked where the deal or then you should be there "euhhhh on who I need to ask for a signature ?" Fourth sometime they really go and direct enter the bus (when not being good, wanna sleep and so on) and last how more there is fans around, how less time they have for you.

Then yeah for me tourbus can definitly not be called backstage

Best way is simply to contact the good personne, what Ida say is most correct

If you refer to my post in some way, and even if you don't, of course it is as you said but I guess the main point of this topic is to just meet the band before or after the gig, not to get backstage.

I understand what you say, but I'm pretty sure the main point is just to meet the band some way or another. :)

Even it's that, advice here to try meet them when they ain't Lordi (cos somewhere it's the case) ain't a good idea.

I know the reality but it's a bit like illegal download, we know it does exist but we evitate to say it in public on official forum

I Wonder how big are the chances that they will come back to Sweden.Because last time as I think some people know it wasn't many people on the shows. Now i've met alot of people who wants to see them live for the first time. And some people have said that they won't have any tour this year, except some summer festivals. And in 2012 they will (I Think) Start recording a new album. So i'm quite dissapointed that we will have to wait almost 14/15 months untill they may have a tour. Awwww! :x

Okay. :) But how young was you then if I may ask? Since you have had many times since then to go and see them. :) If it isn´t your parents who says no to it of course.
But a hint: Never ever give up or stop to wait ;)
