Alright, way to go M.H!
I'm pretty sure you're still sleepy and trying to get over "metal neck" sores from head banging so much, but PLEASE don't be shy- Tell us all about it! Did they have a farewell ceremony for Awa, did Kalma come on stage, did "The Drummer" talk or interact on stage? Please share, you lucky dog you.

Kalma, or any other ex-members weren't on stage... They said goodbyes and things like "we will miss you" during the show to Awa and the drummer didn't speak but Mr. Lordi talked finnish actually quite a lot. And Awa talked when she was asked what song they should play next. (of course she said daddy :) )
(sorry about my english..)

Excellent blog, alot of technical difficulties on stage (which is sadly very common for Lordi) but the show sounds like it was to die for. It was cool to know there was a tribute for Otus and farewell to Awa. Want to see more pics and even videos.
BloodRedSandgirl, how was the new drummers performance? Did he play them well or kind of "improvised" on them like other shows? Did he play a drum solo, is he throne worthy to take the drums after Otus? (btw your english is fantastic)

Yeah, that would've made it the ultimate Lordi show. Imagine Lordi, Amen, OX, Awa, drummer, Kita, Magnum, and Kalma all coming out on stage and doing a 10th anniversary dance number like the "Riverdance".
I would love to see that...

There was no drum solo but I think he (or she, even though i'm quite sure he's a he) is a very good drummer and sounds perfect to Lordi. He might not be as good at Otus (who was brilliant, really), but I think he's at least at Kita's level. I like him a lot.
(...thank you :3)

There was also some fails. Example: Lordi's wings tangled and in Rock Police backing tracks went wrong.

Should be like that:

Kalma for Kalmageddon
Enary for Magistra Nocte
Magnum for WYLAM ( without this stupid [for me] choir )
G-Stealer for one song from BOAPTL ( promotion scarchives would be too :) )
Kita for choirs on all show

Check it out, "It Snows In Hell" from the show.

You know, to be honest, this video was the very first time I was able to get a good listen to "The Drummer's" playing skills. I wasn't at first (at all) impressed, but listening now- Holy smoke, this new mystery monster is a KILLER on the KIT! Love the solid drum rolls and pinches of double kick. I think this guys gonna rock on the next album. Great performance. \m/

Excellent show, looked like alot of exciting fun hearing songs throughout their entire career.
However, I must admit, that "Babez For Breakfast" performance was one pitiful mess. What happened, they were all off timed, the drummer's double kick and fills kept throwing them off tempo, and Amen's solo was played horribly. Oh come on guys, what gives? Maybe they didn't have very much rehearsal time with the new drummer. :?

Yeah the drummer quit the backing track. :)

Was superb trip up to North. Met some of the band few hours before the gig and again after it, also got the Drummer's autograph and exchanged few words. Gig was great but PMMP's gig was a little greater because haven't really seen them before and the amount of energy there was so damn overwhelming! Loved it. Really got everything out of this trip, so, so happy.

Ain't it a crew who do that ?

I know drummer do a part but dunno I don't found logic if he need mind on backing track, tempo and not confuse song. Isn't it a bit too much ask for someone who begin ?

I think people expect him to learn fast, a bit too fast. Otus did but it's him who was out of standart
