I wasn’t there but I saw some video’s of the gig on Youtube. It must have been a great gig with lots of pyro’s.
And man the stage setting with the totems and the castle looked so AWAsome, very nostalgic. Wish I was there. :)

^ I can confirm that it was easily one of the best Lordi shows I've been to - perhaps even the best. Even though it was a shame that there were no newer songs and the set was exclusively songs from the first three albums, the old Arockalypse stage set and props are still incredible, hearing tracks like Pet the Destroyer and Rock the Hell Outta You live after so many years was a real treat, and the amount of pyro especially during Biomechanic Man was insane. And of course seeing all this from the front row didn't hurt. Thank you, Lordi, for an amazing show!

Ohh yes it was a good show. Too good. I wanna go back.
I was in the front row too, jumping all the way through it like crazy, not caring about how sweaty my hair was looking. With the pyros it was like a sauna. Awesome though. Almost cried when they started Rock the Hell Outta You, I've wanted to hear it live for soooo long. Thank you <3

(Yeah, agreed that I would've liked some newer songs too but hey, it's an anniversary show, I think that's to be expected)

I have to say I really dont miss the Arockalypse era setlist but my favourite was The kids who wanna play with the dead and was nice to see pyros. There were no meet and greed but there was Awa unmasked...

Wow. I wasn't there but just judging from the clips I've seen this gig really became sort of an eye opener for me. THIS is how Lordi should be. Really, it took me this long to realise the whole castle stage is lightyears from anything they've had on stage since then. Frankly it makes all other tours - especially Babez-SFO look almost sloppy. I guess the Arockalypse years really was their prime years - an era I purposely dismissed for a long time since The Arockalypse and Bringing Back The Balls To Stockholm DVD were pretty much the only things I listened to and watched for two years straight as a kid. Watching parts of this show almost brought tears to my eyes! And the setlist; wow. Pet the destroyer! Really hope that one will be brought out on the next tour as well.

I really wouldn't mind them re-using the castle again. Don't know if there are practical and economic problems that would hinder the band from going on the road again with that stage. If not; Lordi, PLEASE give us the castle back!

I wouldn't say no on decor too but for them it would mean that they would need to travel with 2 bus or so and I guess them to have more crew too.

From there L (or bands) will surely read what fans say and if they can they will try :)

Jonathan: Problem with the castle is that it's too big. Waaay too big for the venues Lordi plays now. It took up most of the space on the Tuska stage, so they'd need bigger venues.

This is why I always loved the hospital. It was flexible.

^ It is one of the best stage sets Lordi's ever had, definitely. My favorite is still the Deadache hospital set though. :)
