Not doubting you or anything, however where have you heard this info as I cannot find anything anywhere about it.

EDIT - I meant the October dates, not Download.

They are listed on www.downloadfestival.co.uk on the lineup page as the group before last on the 3rd stage..... and I also received an e-mail from seetickets earlier this morning with lordi in the "also on sale this week" section. It seems they just got their dates wrong....but I haven't found any confirmed dates yet... so yeah would be interesting to see where this info came from

I just thought of something VERY annoying. I hope the London date on this tour is at the weekend otherwise I may not be able to see them! We don't know our university timetable until September... and with that being the start of my final year I can't miss anything! GRR... why couldn't the dates be a 5 weeks earlier? LOL... I'll just keep my fingers crossed

EDIT:
It is true.... I just found this on the birmingham academy website:
------------------------------------
Fri-27-Oct: Carling Academy 2 Birmingham
Lordi
plus special guests. PLEASE NOTE: This show does not go on sale until Tuesday 30th May 2006. No tickets will be available until this time.

Coming from the south-east corner of kent it'll be hard to get to either.... so fingers crossed for a london date :). They can't just do birmingham and manchester can they?

Am hoping to get to the birmingham date - have a driver and everything.

With Any luck, Rock city might appear also - although they probably wouldn't be able to use all the pyros due to the ceiling height!

Woo for a UK tour - am off work tuesday so i can get my tickets sorted.

I have an exam on Tuesday so lets hope they don't release tickets late... i want to sit there refreshing the ticket sites like usual. LOL. The only problem being down here is unless a band is big they don't come to our locan venue - closest is london which is 2 hours away by train on a good day plus travelling distance to venues. Not a big problem but would be useful if it wasn't that far... then when bands don't play london because of cost it gets annoying LOL

Lol... i haven't been in their big room... but worked on tours in the rig and the other room.... you hit your head if you jump while on stage - so not good for lordi in 12-inch boots. LOL :)

I was hoping for a Rock City date before EVS but there is no chance now as it is too small. Might get them at the Concert Hall, and that would be big enough for full pyros. Shame it is a seated venue though.

Looking like Brum will be our best bet really, but might be able to get to both.

It looks like the Academys are getting all the gigs. Just hear from that in Glasgow it looks like the Glasgow Carling Academy has all but got them. No word on ticket pricing or dates, but if it is anything to go by, should be around the £15 mark.

LOL you sound excited. If the Scala gig last year is anything to go by you'll have an amazing time. I'll probably end up at the Manchester one if a London date isn't announced as I have friends up there.

If, as was mentoned earlier, the academys are getting it then it'll be islington academy i'm guessing? thats 950 capacity which seems about right,

The accomodation would probably cost more than the flight
