Wake the Snake!

Postby andy4600 » Sun Apr 24, 2011 12:59 am

This is gonna sound odd, but bare with me!

Today whilst listening to wake the snake it hit me! Wake the snake sounds to me a little like Powerslave by Iron maiden....

They both have guitar riffs with a deep sound.
They both have a sort of choir backing vocals on the chorus!
Both songs have quite a slow Guitar solo.
Finally both solo's end with an awesome drum fill!

Is it just me or does anyone else see similarities?

I'd say it's just a coincidence.

I thought when I first heard it that they tried to do a maiden type thing, I personally don't like it, but maiden would have done a hell of a job.
