New costumes:better or worse?

What do you think about the new costumes? Are they better,worse? Could they have done them in a better way? Are they good as they are now or was the older ones better?

I think they are a lot better now than they was before.
I like the idea that they have different versions of the costumes from time to time. Like Lordis halloween mask and Awa´s red dress.

Agreed with _SYNDICATE_. There's a whole lot more creepiness to them that wasn't present in the last line of costumes. For example, Kita looks a lot darker, and all Amen has to do is lean in at the right lighting to scare you. There's a lot of detail as well, showing that care went into them and that they weren't just thrown together last second. Not saying that the last ones were thrown together at all, but that these costumes were well worth waiting for.

New ones look much more scary, I agree. But, I don't like Awa's face now. Puffy cheeks just make her look like... bulldog? It kinda looks like something stinky is under her nose. I'd rather make her look a bit more feminine.

I have compared various images of the bands costumes. 1 was from their Get Heavy days, 1 from the Monsterican Dream time, 1 from The Arockalypse, and now their modern ones, and to be quiet honest I love thier new costumes the most. I think they now look, as Syndicate said before, like real monsters, like they did in the Monsterican Dream phase- and I love it!

I can't wait to see these cotumes when they're playing live.

I agree there with her puffy cheeks but the new red version makes it up.^^ There she feels more like the evil Awa we know.(But I think her normal dress is also feeling much like Awa and can be both pretty and very scary)

I'd say without hesitation the new ones!! Their much more scarier and monsterlike than the Arockalypse costumes!

I like the new ones, the old "Arockalypse" era ones are good, but I really do like the new look of the band. I'm still unsure about the way OX's horns are now. But I'm sure I'll get used to them at some point.

The things I would say are alomost been told.. But yes, the new costumes are and do look more scarier and creepier!
I'm still getting used to them, but I think they're awesome!
OX's horns.. Hmm, I still don't really know.. Maybe they makes his head look smaller or something? Maybe they're just too big in my opinion.
But beside, that GREAT costumes - They REALLY look like MONSTERS

That is one of the reasons I love the red version.
Kalma was/is my second fave member of this band.
So it reminds me of Kalma and it is a great idea to do that with Awa. It really improved her costume and it is a great touch to it.
Awa is so damn evil looking with it and I so love it.

I think Ox looks more brutal and bigger,his horns are bigger too.He looks really cool, but i really can't decide who the cooler one is, Kalma or Ox. Because Kalma had this mysterious aura, so dark and i really loved his hat,but Ox is so big and looks so furious and that's cool too.

no affense or anything, but they look more fake than when they first came out in 2002. everytime they come out w/ new costumes they tend to look faker and faker. i just wish they could go back to the old costumes...they looked realer and scarier! but thats just my opinion.....they look okay now too though

IMO Amen's the one who's been getting an improvement since his first costume.

Initially, I thought that some of them were worse, but after having seen the BiLaB video and seeing the costumes in action, I absolutely love them.

-Mr. Lordi's new face design looks much more realistic close-up than the previous ones, and really helps to distinguish him more as a sort of demon than a zombie. (which some of my friends have claimed)

-Amen's new costume is really cool, especially the alternate one with the Pharoah gear. It really looks like he was mummified now. (certainly a massive improvement over his costume from the first two albums, which I thought was kind of cheesy)

-OX's costume is a big improvement over the original and he looks more like a bull-monster now.

-Awa's costume took the longest to get used to, but I now respect it as much as I did her original one. She looks more like a deadite now, especially with the alternate hat-combo.

-And, as usual, Kita's costume just plain rocks. Looks a lot more like his first costume, which I thought was better than the Arockalypse one.

Well, I agree with most of you that the new costumes are really more scary, but I don't like Awa's costume- and especially that hat. Now she reminds me Kalma a bit. And her face looks bad now... She doesn't even remind me a female. Those nails are cool, but I always perefered her real, white hands (I was so jealous then) Amen now looks really better. Kita and OX look quite the same for me. Lordi's face is creepier now, finally he's like a real monster. But I woted "worse", only because of Awa's new look.
