And how do you know that?

I hope, and believes that Kita will say his final words here, and maybe explain a bit

From his twitter

Last 10 years with Lordi have been amazing. Now it's time to do something else. I want to thank my fans and band members from my heart. Kita

indeed it's his own decision, he must choose what's the best for him. It's disappointing, though now there is only Mr. Amen and Mr. Lordi from the original lineup. And who will now do some nice backing vocals?
Now this sounds crude, but I wonder how the next costume of the new drummer will look like. One thing is for shure Lordi will be differend without the jaws of terror.

It isn't going to be the same without him. I'll miss him y'know, he was a good drummer.

i agree with monsterboy, the sound of the band in general will be drastically different i think, and it is super depressing to think of Lordi without his awesome drumming prowess. Kita is by far going to be terribly missed and i hope that whatever he chooses to do, he knows we still love him and wish him the best of luck.

God bless you Kita! we love you, always!

I was so shocked to hear this. I haven't been a Lordi fan for years but I still do like them! So I just started thinking about all those years as a Lordi fan. Gosh. Good memories and bad memories. Which is always a good thing in my opinion.
Back to Kita. When I was a Lordi fan I had that idea on my mind. Will he leave the band for his own music career? But I actually never thought he would. But in a way I'm glad he did. He should do what he really is into at that moment and not fake that everything's alright. I bet everything was fine with Lordi: they still do have some fans and I think that "ESC lil kids' fave band" image is out the window. But still. He should try something else for a change. But the worst thing is that it's not likely that he'll come back. At least that's what I thought.
Kita was a huuuuge part of Lordi. Seriously. It's just.... weird to think that he's gone. Even for me.
And why I'm on the English side of this site? Cause this would have sounded terrible in Finnish. Yucky yucky. :? I do like Finnish but too emotional things are.... lame in Finnish.

Anyways all the best for Kita or his alias :P

PS. Here's one who's not gonna watch the ESC Finland this year. Don't wanna ruin the good picture. No not ruin.... I just don't want it to change if you know what I mean (:

I know what you mean Love Gun, you don't want it to tarnish possibly the best ever Finnish placing

This is just awful... It's so sad... I'm not really into Lordi anymore after all these years, yet I started crying... I cried and I cried.... Lordi still means much to me after all even though I'm not really that fan anymore...

Kita, I still think you made a mistake here, but if it's really what you want to do, then I can't do anything against that.... You will always be Kita to me, whether you have your costume on or off... But if you're getting through to the ESC, I'm gonna vote for you... And I think/hope other's here will as well.
What bothers me most is now I will never meet Kita in person and with costume... You know... With Lordi.. I had always a dream of going to a concert with you if you ever came to Norway, and get a backstage pass to actually meet you all. Now that dream is incomplete considering you won't be there when that happens, and the desire to meet Lordi just shrunk a whole lot.....
But, Kita, I love you and your drumming, so keep on rocking man.... \,,/

My little brother's gonna be so sad when he hears all this... Poor guy. :(

Dear kita, lordi really will not be the same with out you!! I know from reading messages on hear, every one feels down hearted about your decision. Every lordi video interview of you i have watched even those where you prat around i love your sense of humor. P/s i do like your other band So. I will also support that as will most of us on here. all the best love Archer xx

Kita, you will be so sorely missed. Only today I listened to Babez For Breakfast with the vocals turned off just so I could hear your backing vocals. The harmonies etc you create are fantastic and I think Lordi's sound will change drastically without your input.

Do we still call him Kita or is it Sampsa now?

Lordi's drummer was called Kita. This is a Lordi forum.

So the answer is

Kita.

Kita you will stay a monster wherever you go and no matter how much time passes. You will be Kita, and we will always love you. Good luck with SO.

I'd like to ask you all a question. And I wish most of you could answer with a good (better if it's really good) question.

If you could ask one thing from Kita, what would you ask?

PostPosted: Tue Oct 19, 2010 10:08 pm

I should just ask "what should you most remember from those 10 years ?"

King: I would ask Kita if he regrets ever entering Lordi or leaving earlier. I mean, he lived Mr L's dream (which is quite different from what he desires) for ten years... Was it worth it?

Probably, how does he feel not wearing the costume anymore and what is the best memory of all those ten years?

Too bad he left, I like his singing. Ah well, best of luck to him.

Yeah... It might look like a little child's first attempt on Photoshop, but actually I just found the Spot Healing Brush Tool. I think it looks pretty nice and thought to share it.

Kita made his choice and I for one respect it!

Hate to see him go, but definitely willing to give Otus a chance!

Best of luck to all involved!! And Kita had a great costume, Otus has some huge shoes to fill here! If you're going to go, go big!!! I think Kita certainly has done exactly that so I have nothing but respect for him for it!

In this charity single you'll hear Kita bashing drums! He also plays drums in Naked Idol's 4th single Shattered, which is now in the radios!
