Else, I say NO! Amen and OX are a fantastic duo :)

Hey!!!
Kalma was an excellent bassist - so... no guitars!!! :!:
(Oh, but I must confess that to see Kalma and OX both with their basses on the stage... wrooow!  )

bass and guitar are not so different. Just different tones and different way of playing one chord. Kalma has played rhytm guitar once as said, so it of course is'nt unrealistic... We can dream on

You're quite right - it's my fault, that I'm crazy to hear the deep tune of bass (and in the combination with the bright guitar - wrow!)
I just wonder what it would be like if OX and Kalma had a little bass duel...
I think that would be the real monsterican dream :!:

OK, so back...

I think it wouldn't be bad if someone (maybe Kalma... or, as THEY were joking - at the comentary track from Market Square Masacre - Bruce Kullick or someone else from KISS...) would join them for a couple songs, but not as a regular band member - just a guest for more fun

No, nobody can do better than Amen !
Just kidding. Lordi never experienced it before it would be strange but then yes, if we get used to it...

I think you guys should write some more in your posts not just "no"...
like why you want a second guitarist or why not. :)

True and if I donĀ“t remember the rules wrong you must write more than no or yes. :)

While some bands do work with 2 sometimes 3 guitars, I think Lordi is a band that is more suited to one guitarist at the moment in time. Maybe in the future they could add a second guitarist, but right now, the set up is fine as it is

Yeah I do think that there should be a second guitarist. Just for the secondary rhythm tracks, because quite a few songs have them.
I know this guy, Nic JT... what?

hu that would make them 6 but i think that would take away the sound of the band and make them alot louder i think they should stay the way they are

i would accept a rhythm guitar if Kalma came back, but otherwise no. Rhythm guitar isn't really necessary in Lordi but after i saw the video of Kalma's return i've wanted him to come back & play rhythm, cuz that performance was EPIC!

I say NO! Lordi is (one of) the last metal band with Only one guitarist (and the best) and is one of the best Metal Band actually so why bring a second guitarist?

Just wondering: Why are so many people saying that Amen is the best guitarplayer? He's not bad, but he's an average guitarplayer ;)

And for the second guitarplayer question: ONLY if it was me, jamming with them at a gig, just for one time ;) That would be cool xD

...Nobody in Lordi is the 'best' at what they do...it's not really their aim...?

I still stick with my opinion up above. It'd just drown out the melodic sound of Lordi themselves and I don't think there'd be much room.

Yeah I'm still agreeing that we don't want a second, or a replacement :) But I have seen so many posts where people are saying that Amen is the best guitarplayer ever and so on ; )

At least, he is one of the most entertaining

Ahh don't worry, i wasn't questioning you, just the repeating message fans seem to enjoy giving  it just seemed the right time :P

Exactly - Amen has enough stage presence for two guitarists! Amen has a huge character - what more do you need live?

Maybe it should be better if it was say "the best for me" 'cos for most it's say so he's the best for them but doesn't mean they considere him like best guitarist of the world, even some certainly mind he is.
