Hi this may sound very premature but I was hoping to see you guys in Britain. Do you think that would happen any time soon? I'm gonna be at Wacken to see you guys anyway. :D

Kalma, DUDE! You have to be the best dressed bass player since GENE SIMMONS!

In fact, Gene Simmons and Bootsy Collins are the only bassists who have costumes anywhere near as cool as yours.

Magnum

Kalma, I heard that you replaced a guy called Magnum a few months ago. Are you actually a different person from Magnum, or did you just change costume ?

Hey Kalma!! I didn't see your picture until I looked in the music section of the Lordi Website and I saw your picture with your arms crossed and I thought "Which one is that? That's gotta be the coolest looking one out of all of them." A zombie too!! You decayed like me didn't you?

Kalma! love your bass skills. you are the one that inspired me to go into bass guitar. i have a question. Why do you sometimes wear a mask thing but other times you don't, or is that the guy you replaced?

The dude with the Mask was Magnum, who Kalma replaced, and you can tell they are different people because if you ever noticed Magnum was quite tall and Kalma is somewhat small... no offence meant there Kalma.
That and Magnum had a 5 string Bass whilst as far as I have seen Kalma has only used 2 different 4 string Basses so far.

Kalma, did you write the lyrics to Kalmageddon aswell, or did you just write the kick ass bass to it?

That and I read in the booklet of the new album Monsterican Dream that you did the backing vocals with Mr Kita, did you decide to do the backing vocals by yourself or were you asked?

Yes, I wrote the lyrics and after that Mr.Lordi refined them to fit in his mouth! 50/50 work...

That and I read in the booklet of the new album Monsterican Dream that you did the backing vocals with Mr Kita, did you decide to do the backing vocals by yourself or were you asked?

When Kita began the backing vocal recordings in his home studio, he asked me to come to do the actual recording with ProTools. He could then concentrate to the singing and not to the computer... I also sang some backings in the same process as well. We decided to try all kinds of variations in the backing vocals so they would sound as big as possible!

Sorry if I am bugging you Kalma asking you so many questions but...

Did you enjoy your scene in The Kin? I thought it was great.

That and are you planning on doing any of the bass tabs for the the new album, or even the Get heavy album? Amen has done some of the guitar ones for Get heavy, I was just wondering if you were planning on doing the same for the bass?

I greatly apreciate your time,

Yes I did, very much. It was really fun to do...

Right now I'm not planning to do tabs, simply because of the lack of time. That is a very good idea though...

Kalma on toistaiseksi mielestäni kaikkein kiehtovin jäsen bändissä. Vaaransin juuri tulevaisuuteni, didn't I?
Jokatapauksessa, Lordi(n bändi) on loistava. En olisi uskonut Suomesta enää löytyvän mitään tällaista.
