It's hard to pick just one really. There are so many fantastic monster movies:
Nosferatu (1922)
Phantom of the Opera (1925)
Dracula (1931)
Frankenstein (1932)
All the Kaiju Movies, such as Godzilla, Gamera, Mothra etc.
American Classics such as Nightmare on Elm Street, the Evil Dead, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre etc

Too much good stuff to choose from :D
Actually I'm a Plumber.

I won't name those movies as monster movies. Elm Street and TCM are slashers, well, Freddy and Leatherface are monstrous, but not so monstrous as Frankenstein or Dracula. And for Evil Dead, it's a splatter, not a monster movie. But again, deadites are monsters... But I don't think those movies are "monster movies"... :P
My favourite from monster movies is Alien. H.R. Giger is the God.

I'd still count them as "monster" movies. You don't necessarily need a supernatural entity to count as a monster...the scariest ones are the ones that are human.

Evil Dead is part splatter, part over the top zombie demon comedy...well, it's hard to find one word that describes Evil Dead, it's more of a mix of everything

Well, the new Wolfman scores high on my list.. Man, that was a good movie, scared the crap outta me too, I gotta admit...

I saw Nosferatu (or how the hell u spell dat), and that was such a slow boring movie.. xD

Oh, okay, FAVOURITES! All righty... Dawn of the Dead was really good, but the favourite of all times is Norwegian actually...
Død Snø! (Dead Snow) Nazi-zombies from hell.... xD It's scary, it's gory, it's got the morbid black humor that cracks me up every single time I watch it...

And I also can't write here without not mentioning the fantastic Nightmare on Elm Street - movies! And Friday 13th! So incredibly goodies!!

Are zombies and Na'vis also monsters?
Okay, I like "The Hills Have Eyes" a lot, and a B-rated movie "Quarantine" aswell.

Haha!! Definitely look out fo rthe original! Ooh and I just finished work and remembered, I watched Rare Exports recently, it's an awesome Christmas themed horror from Finladn and I SWEAR the bad guy in this kid's picture book looks like an early version of Mr Lordi! I was pmsl at it!

I love those POV-movies (At least I think they are called so? Supposed to look like they are filmed with a normal video camera and are "real") Like REC 1/2, Blair Witch Project, Paranormal Activity, The Trollhunter, The Last Excorsism etc. Don't know if you can count them as monstermovies, but.... I love them! XD

Trollhunter is really epic I must say! A little goofy sometimes, but I guess no one is suprised, it's Norweigan you know ...

The remake of Night of The Living Dead is also great, I laughed through the whole movie ...
On a more serious matter, The Creature from The Black Lagoon must be the greatest monster movie of all time!

Aliens movies...(becoming a bit of a stereotype in this topic eh?) The Relic was pretty good, I like the Godzilla movies, not horror but monster movies nonetheless, so many others, if I were to list them all it would probably take me hours of thought.
A lot of people claim that stupid people annoy them, not me. I find them amusing.Image
