Revenge ftw!
KISS got a really angry style on this album, and I guess that's why I think it's their best. Unholy is the best KISS song overall.
And this was also the era when Gene decided to get rid of the "wanna-be-Paul-Stanley style which made him look like a sad puppy" and grew a nice beard and looked like a real rockstar. Damn he looked badass at that time ...

Hotter Than Hell
Crappy quality, but awesome 70's rock songs. All the Way, Goin' Blind, Watchin' You, Comin' Home... almost every song except Got to Choose. And a great, different cover.

But lately I've been more and more got to know the 80's Kiss and I've started to like it a lot. I'm not yet sure which album is my favorite, but I guess, now, it'd be Crazy Nights. :)

And the best costumes they had in Dressed to Kill/Alive! era, 1975. Also Ace's 1974 Hotter than Hell costume was neat!! :)

And can't wait for their new album! :)

I think that the last two - Psycho Circus and Sonic Boom - are the best cause they've got like energy which the others mostly don't have. And on third place is probably KISS.

Creatures of the Night, Revenge, and Psycho Circus for me - although I do adore Carnival of Souls: The Final Sessions. The first few are always up there too. To be honest, with so much material, I find difficulty in judging.

Energy? It's not the first word that comes to my mind when I think about those albums...

If we talk about the actual KISS studio albums, my favourite is the first one. It's just a pure classic, couple of not-so-good tunes but for the most part it's just one evergreen after another.

Outside the studio my favourites are Paul's first solo album and of course - Alive! (though it's mostly done in the studio...)

Creatures of the Night.

- It doesnt have Peter Criss thank god
- It's got raw energy and raw sounds
- There are only a few bad songs
No matter what I post here it'll still be AWESOME!

Unmasked! 100% good songs. (Really. I love all those songs) and the CD just gives me a happy feeling :)

If I was a CD I'd marry this one.

Why?

Interesting picks people have here. A great topic. How about people's fave songs (at the moment)? I like Turn On The Night and Hell or High Water.

1: Destroyer: Epic and big album and have the best song ever: Detroit rock city and also good songs as: shout it out loud and many more.
2: Kiss: the first album and it is great and some classics on the album.
3: Love gun: My first Kiss album and stole your love and love gun are some very great songs.
4: Creatures of the night: Some great songs on this album and the art cover is amazing.

A fantastic band with so many albums but those are probably my faves at the moment.

kiss is the band playing too soft music for me (as you and everyone call it classic rock), so I don't like them at all, but if to think deeply, there's just one song that my father listened to when i was younger and that I loved too and still like but don't listen to; it's a song I Was Made For Loving You Baby if I'm right
