Snakes are an realy simpel animal. When it picks upp the sent of food (Rats , pigs , rabbits) the will try to catch and constrict anything that moves including the owner.

But the rest of the time they are realy easygoing. But when you have a snake in this size you better not be a noob

Dogs , cats dosent smell like food but there is no use try to push it. So they always get fed inside there vivarium. But sometimes you have to get in there and sort things out and at those times you have to be aware of that you could get bitten. It has happend to me a couple of times.

Here some article that i have done with a couple of pix , 2 bloody ones  (In Swedish)

Ormar trivs bäst inne i sina terrarium o där inne ska habitatet vara det som just den arten har i det fria. Men själva hanteringen är inget speciellt förutom vikten.

In english

There is alot to take care of , heat , humidity

You have to have the same habitat inside the viv as the habitat where the snake comes from (in this case Asia) So you need the right heat in day/night cycles and the right humidity.

Otherswise ( ) its an easy animal to keep

*Edit*

More info

When a snake gets il it gets realy il and curing a snake involves alot work
The reason for it is that snakes metabolism doesnt work as for mamels. Between the feedings the internal organs goes in Standby. So if you inject any drug nothings gonna happend.

So if the snake is outside the viv to much the chans is very big its gonna be il

Burmeses are one of the biggest snake there is , every cluch of eggs is gonna be 20-40 snakes.

So you have WAY more snakes then the demand. Take a ballpyton for exampel , its a veru smal snake (1.5 met) and a cluch is gonna give you 3-10 snake with a bit of luck.

A Ballpyton cost 150 Eur
