Motörhead fans?

Postby Ghostrider93 » Fri Feb 20, 2015 6:32 am

I love so much Lordi, but I'm also a huge fan of Motörhead, one of the most legendary rock bands in history. Moreover, it's Motörhead that made me love rock music and become the metalhead that I am today. Lemmy Kilmister is my idol, a mentor, and a legend.

Yes, I'm a big fan, but I want to know now is if there are other Motörhead fans on this board? Don't hesitate to talk. :)

Not yet but I'm planning to check them out, I just need to remind myself to do so. :)

Great :) I think you can like them :) They are Rock N Roll.

To start, I can give you names of some of their best songs: Ace of Spades, Overkill, Crying Shame, Liar, One More Fucking Time, Stay Clean, and so many more....

I like their album called 1916, "No Voices in the Sky" is my favorite song there. And of course I've heard the most famous songs from their repertory. :)

Now I'm going to listen to some more Motörhead albums.

No Voices in the Sky is a great song too. :D
Personally, my favorite is Ace of Spades. This is the song that made me discovering the group, and since then has remained my favorite. :)
Their last album, "Aftershock" is awesome!

I'm not a super big fan but their music is surely okay. I had the luck to see Motörhead together with Anthrax in 2012 in Eindhoven..I'm happy that I saw him there, never thought it would be the last time though..

It is truly terrible that Metal Titan Lemmy has left us. Whatever I write would not give justice to his contribution to metal and rock. Thank you Lemmy, you will live in metal forever.

You are all very lucky to have seen them! I hoped I would be seeing them at Download Festival, but unfortunately nature had other ideas! :(
Did anyone watch the live funeral feed? It was really nice, and really good send-off for him!
