Lordi for Christmas hit - Petition!

To all monsters:

An idea brought on from another Lordi fan (Hard_Rock_Fairies) was for Lordi to make a brand new song (not from deadache) to be released for Christmas.

Yes Christmas is a long while away but these things need time so now is the time!:P

To make this come true and for Lordi to have a #1 Christmas hit under their belt, please sign the following petition........

well.......original idea was for lordi to do a new song all together with the theme of a horror christmas

Blood Red Santa was to be a Christmas song but they made it Blood Red Sandman because it wasn't a good Christmas song...I don't think Lordi is for Xmas stuff but I'd like to hear another song. =)

It would be good to hear a Christmassy song from Lordi, but the look of the band is more suited to Halloween. So maybe a Halloween single instead of a Christmas one.

I have to admit, some Lordi-fied Christmas could be fun. It's not as if they have to be traditional or something. And Blood Red Santa could be a fun bonus track. XD

I can't stand Christmas, as a general rule. It's so over the top and obnoxious and to be frank, I've rather enjoyed spending my last couple of Christmases alone in my apartment.

But, since finding the album last year, Twisted Sister's Christmas album is, with very rare exception, the only Christmas music I can stand (and the only one I crank up until my ears hurt XD).

Why does there seem to be a rule that Christmas songs have to be... gooey?

I'm not saying a petition is going to change anything (internet 'petitions' rarely do), but at least if they know we're interested, it's something they can consider and keep on the table for the future.

Hell knows I'd like to have a little more variety in my Christmas playlists.

I'd be all for it, as I absolutely love heavy metal Christmas songs.

"It Snows in Hell" was great, but I'd love to see something about Lordi overrunning the North Pole and enslaving the elves, or even zombie reindeer.

"Blood Red Santa" would have been nice to hear back in 2003, but since "Monsterican Dream" has been out for four years now, I'm pretty used to "Blood Red Sandman", and a significant re-doing would be needed to make it more than just a one-word change.
