Lordi's best live song

Postby Berghani » Sun Oct 19, 2008 9:26 pm

Every Lordi fan has a favorite song on an album but there is also a lot of songs that is better performed live. Which live performance of Lordi do you like the most?
Sigh... only if I had anything of importance to write here.

I've got to say It Snows In Hell, there was one added intro by miss Awa that's not on the album. I got goosebumps from it and the rest of the song...priceless.

I agree there. :)

It would have to be Bringing Back the Balls to Rock for me. I mean don't get me wrong, that intro for It Snows In Hell that Awa did live was amazing. But watching the band take up their instruments and then playing BBTBTR was a magical moment for me. And you know that your are going to be taken on one heck of a ride, and that you are going to enjoy every single minute of it

The numer one for me is , It snows in hell . The way how MR.Lordi uses his voice in that song is just amazing and it gives me the chills . And i think his voice sounds so more monsterlike when he,s performing it live on stage. It,s so much better than listen to it on the album, . And i just love the lyrics . Also the song has a really special memory behind it . When i saw them for the first time here in Amsterdam a couple of years ago and they performed that song i had to cry becouse it was so beautiful and at some point MR.Lordi made eye contact with me and even took my hand for a few seconds. He just looked at me while he was singing that song and for a moment it felt like he was actually singing to me  . and the look in his eyes , it was like magic . That was just a really special moment and i never will forget about that . So that song is my favorite ....especially when it,s live

Devil Is A Loser is good, it´s many special effects in that song, and it sound´s great too :) Pet The Destroyer is also good peformed live, u get at realy heavy and bombastic feeling when you watch it. I´m sure those songs are better when you can see them live, not on Youtube and Dvd´s

wwell... I haven't been on any full-size Lordi gig. At Kauppatori I was and I was in Elämä Lapselle ´06, but those weren't full gigs. There wasn't almost any pyroeffects. Well the Kauppatori had those but not so much and they didn't play full Lordi gig.

I think it's WYLAM?, because the crowd knows it. Everybody jumps and screams, Lordi takes the crowd on hold. It's very good thing! Hard Rock Hallelujah is maybe the most known song in Lordi's history. Almost everyone knows it when they go to Lordi gig, at least in Europe. But I still keep my mind on WYLAM?, it's so hit song. The chorus is awesome and it's easy to play! Verses are very good. It has been on almost every gig of Lordi and it just rocks!

I'd either say WYLAM or Pet the Destroyer. Pet the Destroyer is so awesome with its energy fueled intro, and the props usually used during this song (the chainsaw) are awesome. And WYLAM is probably Lordi's most known song (next to HRH) and it usually has fantastic pyro and sound live!

Man, there are so many. I love Bringing Back the Balls to Rock, just cause it's a great intro, how everything is just like.. I don't know how to describe it... but the concert I went to, the song Who's Your Daddy was probably the best, just cause, like my mom said, they really just fucking rocked, they were stomping and moving around, and it was just all around great.
:.I love Kita.:

Well, I doesnt see Lordi live...yet, but if i can get to Munich and
they are playing The Devil Hides Behind Her Smile, i think this
would be one of the best Live Song.

Otherwise, i also really like It Snows In Hell Live, I seen it on
a video and its just a great atmosphere and Mr.Lordi´s Voice
fits perfectly.

what song lordi plays better live?

Postby thephenom » Tue Nov 11, 2008 5:57 pm

In my opinion it has to be Blood Red Sandman in the Ozzfest. Mr. Lordi voice was more demonic than ever. Best song ever played live on Ozzfest.
