Mr. Lordi chose good people for solos. Those songs didn't sound like karaoke or what. (And BTW: Even Marco Hietala didn't win Kuorosota.)
They will just be an ember
Yet your flame's burning high
They will not be remembered
Yet your sound is alive

Bah, I'm gonna be the bitch here now..
Rovaniemi did good. As a performance. They made a good show. But musical wise and when it comes to choreography, right people for the leads, medley's, cooperation, and right use of vocalization... Not so much. I think it was just too little focus on the singing itself, which is obviously the most important thing for a choir to work out. So if they had focused more on vocals and less on how it would look, I think it would've gotten so much better. They choose looks instead of sound. Bad decision IMO, even though it looked friggin ace! I Love It Loud sounded good, but I think that's because Mr. Lordi sang as well. And I also feel that was the only one with perfect leads.. xD (the other guy on the leads kicked some ass!) The rest sounded really poor and outta tune. Was missing someone singing with some real compassion!

They had the best show, but definitely not the best voices.

Sorry, but that's just my opinion as a singer and choral conductor. xP

I second GTBBG. Jussi had technically better choir for sure, but Lordi went to the final as what he is, what he presents and so on... Both right ways. I would've loved to give the money to the lonely elders in the North, even though Sydänlapset, children, have future still ahead.

I'm gonna express my opinion now.
Lordi's choir (Oh, that's a lovely word to pronounce, by the way! Choir...) was lookin' better.
I prefer Laplands senior people to sydänlapset.
It's a pity Lordi and Rovaniemi didn't win but can't help it.
It's just a competition: someone must win and others are destined to lose. All of the charity destinations got some money, which is good because they're all important.
Mr. Lordi singing is something awesome, of course, but the Final Countdown duet was spoiled by the other choir leaders. Mr. L and Jussi should have sung the rest together, as well.

And if I did say something funny, it's probably because I'm still sick. Ill. Not very healthy. How you wanna put it. ;)
