Nice spot at the concert , when me and BotB went to see them in concert we got attacked by the water.

I got attacked by the water at Download.

And I think Hammerfall play Bloodstock this year, whoever wanted to see them.

No problem :P

The Finns Lordi logically took the position of the Openers. Logicall when you've seen how much stage - design and carefully detailed accessoires they dragged onto the stage even for such a short presentation.
The fairly small part of the stage which they could use (the rest was covered because it was filled with the Hammerfall stuff) loocked almost ike in a Theatre.
On both sides we could see giant stone parts showing the band name in illuminated red letters at the sides of the drums and the keyboard they put up wood-house pieces like in an ols western-valley. The bandsymbol was shown in front of the keys and behind the keyboard.
The artists themselfes fitted perfectly into this scenery with their detailed costumes.
Lordi started their 40 minute set with the title song of their first album - get heavy. Their costumes may have disturbed their movement - freedom a bit but anyway they rocked good and recieved good feedbacks from the crowd for their "Alice Cooper meets Twisted Sister"-Songs.
But sometimes it was more important to see what was happening on the stage, for example when Mr Lordi was posing in his butcher dress equipped with some kind of chainsaw.
Cool Gig - the optical part should remain untouchable for the whole evening.

Setlist Lordi:
Get Heavy
My Heaven Is Your Hell
Blood Red Sandman
The Children Of The Night
Pet The Destroyer
Devil Is A Loser
Would You Love A Monsterman

Thats the least I could do for you after you helped me out with the shirt :D

Stay heavy

Thanks Kremsman, I'm very happy you like the designs, I'll make sure they are as beast as I can get them. I hope the shirt looks great when it's done... I should have the finished designs sent to you soon.

I gaurantee that BotB will give you an amazing t-shirt design and you will want to use it all the time . I have seen Fallen One on the cam in his t-shirt that BotB sent to him loads of times. He is making me a special one :P and I am going to wear it all the time. I think that you should open your own Lordi shop BotB, but make the merchandise non-official so that you don't get in trouble, and you could show people your designs.

I discovered Lordi through the Blood Red Sandman video on a complimentary DVD with Metal Hammer magazine. Then I knew I needed Lordi in my life!

It's easier than I though, getting Lordi merchandise printed... Nice Miss Lady Tanja at Levy-Yhtio said that they just have a designer and he brings them designs, they decide what designs they want to print and that's that... they don't have to go to BMG Finland and sign loads of papers like I thought.

Well that is somple then isn't it, because all you have to do is print the design and stuff off, BotB, and then post your ideas to her and let her know what you think. Then you could become famous amongst the Monstermaniacs because you would have designed the t-shirts that some of them might be wearing.

Anyway I think we have got a bit off topic here. I discovered Lordi when I got with BotB, as you all should know, but I think that if I wouldn't have got with BotB, then I will have discovered Lordi anyway, most likely through Nightwish.

On another note, I don't know if anyone else is the same but I realised that I can listen to Lordi none stop and I don't get bored of it, but I can only stand Nightwish to a certain extent. Weird, huh :? .

I don't think that we should start saying who if the biggest Lordi fan because I know that it would cause so many arguements and we would never be able to decide on who is.

We are all Monstermaniacs and it doesn't matter who is the bigger fan or who isn't, we all fans which is the point.
