So people have started receiving the new Lordi calendar and so far everyone I know has gotten a calendar where the quality of the print and some of the pictures are way off to say the least. I've now received mine as well and it looks the same as everyone else's, so I figured it was called for to start asking if anyone knows what's happened with this whole calendar ordeal. My dad who works in the business of newspapers and printing took one look at the calendar and said copies like this shouldn't have been sent out. I wouldn't go as far as calling the calendar ruined, but the quality is still poor enough to warrant the assertion that whoever was in charge of printing and sending these things out dropped the ball big time.

A printing problem is in my eyes clear simply as some pictures for me can't be only a "bad" live pictures and also because I do believe that L who did the layout would never had accept to use that bad pictures

The calendar get later send out because of a misprint problems and I ask me if it couldn't be that by accident they send out the missprinted calendar in place of the correct one

I have been in contact with them and here is their reply of one of the emails:

Hi Eila,

we have checked the print of the calendar and we agree. But due to christmas holidays we can´t find a final solution with the printing company because there is simply nobody available anymore.

But since this is not your problem I can offer you two different solutions in order to solve the problem:

- we transfer back the money and you send back the calendar
- you wait til January and we will send a better printed version

Again we are very soory for the problem :-(

I think that all need to complain individually in a mail, however in the first mail they told me they will check it out and get back to me.
They said more people had email them about the same problem..

So if you want to have it all sorted out I think all need to do it individually.

My calendar was also misprinted.. I will send them an e-mail and let them know.

I have never seen a company agree on the horrible quality of their product. I'm glad we're entering a new age in customer relations.

I thought a final solution was though of years ago?

Well unfortunately the office was closed until Jan. 6th, 2016, so I guess they will start answering their mails soon.

I got an answer today. They won't be able to send a new calendar because they won't print new ones. BUT they apparently let us get the money back even though we keep the calendars... :roll:

Got the same response as well. So now it means they spent money printing these calendars which they won't even fully make back due to having to refund people. They basically gave 'em away for free. I will reiterate my original stance - whoever was in charge of getting these calendars printed and sent dropped the ball BIG TIME.

I don't know if refund mean that band would get less money of calendar but in case of doubt I will even not ask it. They will already have hard to sale them out and next year people will be much more careful before buy it.

The printing company did mistake but it's not them it will impact
