I have been a Lordi fan since a couple of months after ESC 2006 ..
When i saw them first time at tv i was totally spreechless .. I remember that i was just sitting there and starring at the screen like  .. And then i thought : OMG, theese guys are sooooooo ... Different?
And a couple of weeks after one of my friends showed me the HRH video . And i was totally freaking out xD And then i knewed that i was a fan.. Or i was gonna be one, 'cause this band was totally rocking my brain out xD ..

I began to 'study' them a little bit, but not much.. Actually it was first in early 2007, when i really began to interest me for them .

And now I can't live without them. Or their music. They mean so much for me. They're always in my thoughts, even if i don't think about it. They can always make me smile and happy.

Lordi, you will stay in my heart forever!

Well... I have a bit silly story how I discovered Lordi. But I started to like them a month after the ESC. First I hated them( ) and I thought they wouldn't win ESC. But... When they won and the tv showed some of them songvideos, I started to like them. Haha first I hated them, and now I love them...

I saw them the first time at ESC and just knew that they would win cuz they were so different to the others.. And they did xD !! ... But I didn't vote for them -.- dont ask why.. But then at school everybody told me that they sucked (they still say that) but I said they rocked, and when their album came out, I bought it and was a fan [:

And when I saw their videos they made before ESC I thought "Hey, I think I have heard this song before!" so maybe I knew them before that ?

What year

Postby Rnbdesigners » Sat Feb 23, 2008 1:12 am

I voted for 2007 because that was the latest year it had but I heard Lordi 2008 this year. I was on my computer then saw a tribute video for the movie See no evil and the song Blood red sandman was playing I was like this song is awesome. After I heard the song I saw the original video for it and it was great, so I started to hear other songs of Lordi and they became my favorite band Lordi rocks.

Since June 2007, all thanks to Lucinda. Somehow I ended up on one of her videos on You Tube that was an Undertaker tribute, and it had "Devil Is A Loser" I saw it thought it was cool then later I saw it again and I checked out Lordi, and got some of their songs, and well they hold the distinct honor of being the only band *that I like* who's songs all rock. In my opinion they don't have a single bad song. :)

When I heard they where a monsterband going to ESC, I was sold.
I liked them really much, but it was in the middle of 2007 I "really" started to like them.

First time was in 2000, when I have read that Kita joined in band.
That time I thought (oh, man, they looks great ! What kind of music did they playing?) Then I was trying to find something about them, and two years later I heard a ,,Get heavy". Truly, Kita inspired me

I found them in 2006, there was a video of Hard Rock Hallelujah on czech music TV station Óčko. My reaction when I saw them was like "Holy crap, they look really cool... and what a powerful chorus..."

But nowadays, I don't like Hard Rock Hallelujah, and the whole Arockalypse that much. I think it's their worst album... but i don't say, that it's bad! Hell no! It's still great!

i was in one of many bad spots in my life when i first heard LORDI. i was in my first semester of college really depressed when a fellow student was like, "hey, i have something that's definitely gonna cheer you up!"

he knew i grew up loving horror films, anything to do with monsters, and generally all forms of music (except religious music, can't stand it!) so he took me to the library and hooked up his earphones to the computer speakers and turned on the video for "Hardrock Hallelujah".

i've been in love ever since. they are my number one favorite band, and i can't imagine not listening to them at least once a day. i can't be unhappy when they're playing! simply impossible!
