Costume making?

Postby TheDeinonychus » Thu May 31, 2007 10:51 am

I've heard that all the costumes worn by the band are all self-made. Im just wondering how. I know someone with the right tools and effort can make just about any costume, but I'd realy like to know how they made theirs. Did they start out with simple bought costumes till they made money to make better ones, or were the costumes like a project all unto themselves?

Im asking cause for one thing, I realy love the look of the costumes. And second, I've always wanted to get into makeing costumes like that, real movie-quality costumes and effects.

Mr. Lordi made all costumes himself from scratch using latex and other materials. He's been doing things like this since he was young.

Mr. Lordi designed all of them but the member's thought of what they would like their costume to be like, then Mr. Lordi made them.

To be fair, they seem to have discussed the characters. They didn't JUST decide on their own.

He made all the costumes himself, he said the costumes cost a few hundred euro's. So like the materials for them cost a few hundred euro's and then Mr. Lordi put them together.

Joni Master, I like your method :D

Just one little question to everyone..
Do you have clear pictures of the old costumes of the band members?
*trying to look cute*
I mean when the band look liked this :
Kalma, Enary, Lordi, Kita & Amen.
I would really like it, because I got to make them all for April 2008..
