My moms favorite Lordi member is Amen-Ra so during a show all she would say is "AMEN!, AMEN" Mr. Lordi had to bring him out first cause of her and he gave her a funny look which was priceless. Amen even had his solo my mom as silly as she is we decided ever time he stopped we would scream "ALL HAIL AMEN-RA!" and he took a graceful bow LOL
My mom loves them my at is scared of them and her mother-In-Law thought OX was the devil

Thanks I had no Idea but I'll tell you one funny thing my mom did her favorite Lordi song is either would you love a monsterman? and Hard rock hallelujah for that song she had no Idea the chorus and thought the song went "amen is an angel and he rocks Hallelujah" I turned and said "no he it don't say that and for that song Mr. Lordi should never had the mic to you"

My dad seems to like them though he tends to mispronounce the name (pronounces it "Lodi"), my mom tolerates them but just isn't into their style of music.

OMG!
Lodi is american heavy metal band Tesla's song

Just about a year ago, I set out on the road
Seekin' my fame and fortune, I'm lookin' for a pot of gold
Things got bad and things got worse, I guess you know the tune
Oh Lord, I'm stuck in Lodi again

My mama has just put them as a wallpaper into her comp at work
Unfortunately it isn't the sign that she really likes them - it'S the way how to keep her chef far away from her office...

Be brave and manage him to like them...
I did, it's funny!!!
(I mean, it's great to discuss your favourites from different views... of course, just in the cause your parents aren't totally against it, then you're gonna loose that battle... :? )

Keep on rockin' and do your be(a)st!!!

My mom is afraid I will become a hardrocker with everything in black and rivets on my jacket and pierced nose, lip and ear. XD

When I went to Lordis concert in gothenburg for almost a year now, I weant with my brother, which was lucky for mother, because during dr sin is in Lordi ate somebodys heart and liver, and if my mother would have bin there, she woud feel sick after that

So no, she doesnt like Lordi, but she respects that I do.

Very, very well... that's the first step to turn her into a monsrtermaniac...
When I discovered Lordi, my mum was afraid of me listening to sth. like that... now she makes jokes with me about their photos etc.

Give her some time (my mum changed in about five years...)

My dad... He doesn't love them, but he likes some songs. When i'm in his car i can play one of their CD's at maximum volume, so :D (It's fun because i don't have any loud speakers at my home... :( ) He hasn't heard the new CD yet but he loved TIHM because he heard it from my single :) But he also thinks that they're a bunch of idiots... i wanted to go to the Dordrecht gig (The Netherlands) with him but he didn't want to.

My mom's the same. But she appreciates them more then my dad. And she's going to the gig with me  She has heard half the CD and she loves them little. Glad she's going to the gig, man, i was happy when i heard it. :P

My family have nothing against them. My mother respect them, and sometimes she talks about them with me. But she doesent listen at them (if I dont do it loud haha).

My father is the same. He don't care, they are a band. He is a musician himself so he think it's fun for me, I guess.

Yesterday, When I heard about Kita (I know this is'nt the forum for that, but I just mention it) and started to cry outlaud. My mother comforted me really much yesterday. My parent does'nt live with each other, so dad he just "okay". But my mother and one of my sister understood why i was sad.

Well I can say, to go back to the point. At I am the one who listen at Lordi, and the other think i?ts fine. :)
