I don't think Lordi should touch any "more recent" songs as a cover, granted I think they have too much songs stored up to warrant doing a cover but if they were to do one I think maybe a cover of KISS' Unholy would be a good one, it's very like Lordi's image with the cruel lyrics. I like Mr. Kita's vocals also and I think he'd sound good during the "Unholy!" chorus.

Maybe they could make it as "celebratory" as possible with some good drum fills and ad-libing on the original song.

KKE wrote "As I know the other song, Lordi made ("Studs and Leather" was the working title) is a mixture between Heaven's on Fire from Kiss and Ball to the Wall from Accept.

I'm waiting more for the Accept-part, because I love Accept "

Oh, thats great man! :D Thanks for this information! But I'm waiting more for the Kiss-part, cause I really like them and "Heaven's on fire" is one of my favorite their songs! :D

Yes for the love of Lordi people please post why you think Lordi should do "said cover" songs.

It's booring as fuck to just see a list with no reasoning presented for them.

I would LOVE to hear a heavy version of Warren Zevon's Werewolves of London. I think it's something Lordi could really have some fun with! (Especially the howling hehe)

Hmmm, I would like Lordi to cover either Alice Cooper's "No more mister nice guy" (I mean you can just imagine it! Lordi reading the paper, then throwing it down and his wings coming out at the chorus? Awesome!!!)

Yeah and I would also love it if Lordi maybe did a cover or joined up with Finntrolls. I'd love to hear them doing a version of "Trollhammaren" or "Det Iskalla Trolbloodet", especially on the chorus to the second song where they all sound like they're drunk! :D

major thanks to Hemitys for directing me to the right place.

i have often been wondering what songs i would love to hear lordi sing
i would LOVE to hear lordi sing shadow on the wall and especially Five Miles out by Mike Oldfield but knowing Mikey he might not like it : (.

i think my dream would be to have Lordi and Meat Loaf performing Bat out of hell together. i mean their monsters and Meat Loaf also sings about chaos and stuff hell stuff:D. poor meat loaf, been ill recently i feel sorry for him : (.

oh and of couse Its my life by Bon jovi, and run to the hills by Iron maiden, hearing mr lordi sing these in his heavy rock growly singing style would be awessoome!.

I think it'd be cool if they sang "Number Of The Beast" or "Fear Of The Dark" by Iron Maiden.
