Greatest discovery (& it was an accident!)

Postby wildturkey » Thu Dec 11, 2003 7:00 am

It looks like I made an excellent discovery (and it was all by accident!!!). I was just doing some random web surfing and I saw some weird make up and heard a good beat. So I keep investigating because I don't know who this band is. Finally I figured out it's a Finnish band called Lordi. Next thing you know I'm downloading all their songs and listening to them all the time!!! Kick-ass band!!! Now there's a second reason to move to Finland (the first reason, of course, is Finnish women !!!).

I have a couple of requests from fellow Lordi fans:

1. Is there a North America release date?

2. What other video is out beside "monsterman" and where can I find/download it?

3. How do I greet my fellow Finnish fans in suomi? (also provide pronunciation!)

Hi and welcome!

1. I think that Lordi conquers Europe first and then it's time for American release.

2. There's video for "Devil is a loser" as well. Go to this address:
http://plazatv.fi.soneraplaza.net:800/a ... issa0.html
Then click on the link that says: Purkissa XII - osa 1/2 Lordi

3. Hei kaikille suomalaisille Lordi faneille! (sorry, I can't help you with the pronunciation...)

The band members read this forum as well and sometimes answer your questions, so don't be afraid to ask! (but search first to find out if your question is already covered under other topics...)

Told by an idiot, full of sound and fury,
Signifying nothing.

So what does "Hei kaikille suomalaisille Lordi faneille!" translate to? Is it - Hello Finns of the Lordi Fanclub?

Anyway thanks for all the help!

Hei kaikille! Iron Maiden is defintely one of the best bands ever. Lordi has a similar music style which is why I was so interested in them! You have a cool Avatar too. What is it?
