Yo Amen man, great stuff you're doin with Lordi. Got a guitar question for ya man.

What tuning do you play in most?

I been listenin to Lordi like none stop lately and it doesn't sound as chunky as other bands out there, it sounds like you're in standard but I'm not sure(I'm still learning :D)

btw, someone mentioned Amen getting a custom axe like Lynch's bone strat, well I know of this website where you can basically piece together your own guitar through a program so you can see and I made this for Amen.

Brinkster's weird so you'll have to copy and paste it.

Thanks,thanks
Ashe wrote:What tuning do you play in most?

All the songs are in standard tune, except "Biomechanic Man" and "Get Heavy". In those two songs I use D-tuning.

Oh Yeah, now we are talkin'! If that one is not called "Amen-Egyptian" -model, then what is? :) Something like that I've been thinkin' of..but your version..well, it looks really HOT!

Hi Amen !

Lordi wrote me that you have the cd I gave Renska after your gig here in Osnabrück for the Wacken Roadshow. It contains two songs (Fireball & I believe in rock'n'roll) written especially for the band. Unfortunately he couldn't play the cd-r on his equipment and gave it to you. Did you manage to listen to the songs and play them to Lordi? I'm dying to know what you and the rest of the band think of the tracks and if you would like to use parts of the songs as a b-side or on your next album. BTW, all instruments and vocals were played and performed by myself (the guitar is missing the high e-string ;) ) and recorded without any professional equipment.

Hope you like the songs - keep on rockin' !!!

..er..well, I don't have the CD but I heard the song "I believe in Rock'n Roll" somewhere..and I liked it! It was very "Alice/Kiss" -stuff and it works for me

..if you would like to use parts of the songs as a b-side or on your next album.

Right now we have something like a 40 new songs for the upcoming album and in our storage there is probably 60-70 songs, so I guess that we have enough material for the next few years, but hey, never say never

Holy shit you guys rock! It took me awhile pumping the search engines for all their shit figure out who you guys were, I saw a clip of "would you love a monster man?" (the main corus, they didn't label anything so I had to write down the lyrics and put it in a search enghine) as an intro to some other ripped video. I must have watched that clip 1000 times. You guys should work something out with Rob Zombie and tour with him! Its all the same type of shock rock stuff and you would DEFINATELY get more fans in America (not that you don't already have tons). Hey, if you guys are millionaires already you guys should definately try it in America or at least do some tv advertising.

I didn't know that rock was that popular outside of America, I thought Europeans were just into that gay assed German "rock"/techno shit.

btw- I went out and bought your album, and that is a major thing for me because I never buy CDs.

You guys seriously have 60-70 songs already made? Damn you guys work hard! (good for us :D )
Did you mean that you guys are going to put 40 songs on a CD? That would kick so much ass.

what are you guys doing as a band now, taking a break?

I use very basic set, Marshall JCM 900/JCM 800. I have some pedals (distortion etc.) but I haven't use those in a live situation. Right now I'm testing BOSS SD-1 Over Drive -pedal which I found very cool! In a studio I use everything within reach  but the sound of the Marshall amplifiers is base of my sound.

Hey,
thanks a lot of your comments, opinions and feelings! Hopefully someday there will be a chance for us to hit America! It would be very cool! For the upcoming album we wrote something like 40 songs, and on a album we probably gonna put 10-12 songs, we have to save some material also for a rainy day, u know  We gonna go to the studio in the end of this month, and album should be out before the next summer.

All the best,

Excelent, I can see your point in keeping some songs back incase a "rainy day" ever occurs.
That and it would be a bit difficult to fit 40 songs onto a CD lol.
would make for one hell of a multi album tho  .

What are the names of the new songs? Or are they kept secret?
I'm still waiting for the one called "Blood Red Santa" which was mentioned on lordi.org.
And I'm still begging you to put "Midnight Mover" onto the CD. I didn't believe my ears when I heard you guys playing it live.
Well.. I guess the new album will rock as much as "Get Heavy" did, anyway.
You said, it will be finished until summer. So I'm looking forward to your show in Pratteln/CH next Winter!
