You can if you want to I guess. It's purely because of the Finnish language that the R is Rrrrolled in Lordi. I pronounce it Lord-ee. It's how it's pronounced in the English language anyway... We must remember that Lordi translates into Lord from Finnish to English. The "ee" sound at the end is merely the sound we add to make the Finnish sound for Lord.

This hurts my head after a while.

I'd say: pronounce it the way you want!
my name (ragnor) is pronounced on very different ways too, I don't care! (as long as they don't start callign me "ranger" because they misread my name)

people that speak dutch mostly pronounce my name like: "Rahgnohr" (or somethign like it)
in english it is pronounced more like "regnoor" (I hear dit beign pronounced by english peopel this way several times, don't blame me If your an english person and you pronounce it different)

I prounce the lordi names as the following:
Awa: aw-wah
Ox: Oks
Kita: keetah
Lordi: lordy
Amen: aymehn

I'm sure it's Ah-va because the Finnish commentators for Eurovision said all of themembers names when they came back onstage after winning Eurovision.
They said it like this.
"Ah-va,Ah-men,Key-ta,Oks,Lordee"(rolling their Rs,ofcourse)

But that's how they said it.
Boy? You give me a Deadache.

I enjoy hearing Finnish being spoken, and speaking it myself, even though my vocab is very limited. I love the language, the way it rolls off your tongue
