I don't know if I would like a second guitaris because Mr. Amen would always be THE guitarist and the second one would be his shadow in my opinion.

Personally I dont think Amen needs anyone helpin out. He's done a great job thus far by my ears. If another guitar is needed it would only be live I imagine. And they could just go the Nevermore route and use a touring musician. A Monster for hire if ya will

At the moment, Lordi really don't need a secondary guitarist. Amen has managed to keep the blood pumping in Lordi by himself. The way I see it, Lordi should only consider getting another guitarist if they change their style to something heavier.....which I doubt will ever happen.

I really wouldn't like a second guitarist, I never like second guitarists in any other bands either, I think it's better to have 1 for each instrument. Dunno why, I just don't like it.

In technical things when they play live I think Lordi needs second guitarist because Amen can't play all things, but at studio they don't need it.

Noone mentioned The Chainsaw buffét. Well I'd love to see this song live and you need 2 gitarrists for this song, but I don't want to have more than 5 monsters on the stage for the whole time...There would be less room for Amen and OX to run over the stage

Tricky question. It doesn't matter on the albums how many guitar players they have, but when you listen them live, the sound is sometimes too thin. Mostly on the parts which have harmonies, solos etc. stuff. Lordi's live sound doesn't kick ass as much it's supposed. It's supposed to be BIG and CRUNCHY. That's my opinion.

But.

I can't imagine another monster joining the group right now. Although the current line-up has been around for only 2 years, it feels like it has been like this forever. Don't get me wrong, I like Enary and I LOVE Kalma but this seems to be the ultimate - and do I dare to say: the classic - Lordi line-up.

I love the Demon make-up, but I'd add something to the robes to mark him as a herald of Lordi, like their mask logo. I know the band has a lot of costumes to keep track of already, but a quick shot of silkscreening or good old needle and thread could give it that special touch it deserves for the guy who does work of a choir (and then some) while they're on tour.

I voted for no. I would like to see another monster join the band but not just now, maybe sometime in the future. Like a couple of years maybe. I'm happy enough with Lordi consisting of only 5 monsters, can't really explain why, but to me that feels the right size for the band.
