Actually, although I can't wait for Studs and Leathers, which is influenced by Balls to the wall from Accept, I wouldn't like to hear a cover-song on the new album. It's ok, if they play some stuff live, like Amen or Kita did in their solo-parts.

Today we will meet the producer of our next album.
It´s the first meeting, where we tune our ideas to a mutual level. We won´t tell the name yet. But it´s a name I´d guess some of you are or could be somewhat familiar with.

Right now, we will listen to the first 25 new demosongs that are recorded. That is our first patch. So far it is safe to say that the material is kinda GH Lordi-like, with a strong ´80´s metal feel, more melodic, and a lot less sinister and "serious" than on Deadache.

One thing is for sure, there´s not gonna be cover songs on the next one either. In my mind, covers place is not on an actual album, it could serve as a bonus for a special printing or something. Like with The House for examle.

I have no idea, what´s gonna be the destiny of Studs And Leather. It very well could be, that it will remain in the vault with Hulking Dynamo, waiting for some special release somewhere in the (distant?) future. But most likely it will NOT be on the new album, since it was done already before Deadache.

I might also tell you, that the ideas of the new look are starting to come together. There´ll be a bit more colorful bunch of monsters next year.

Mixed reaction if I'm honest - I loved the serious, sinister tone to Deadache, but I love Get Heavy's basic feel...

But this news saddens me, I was hoping for more of the sinister and serious theme of Deadache to continue Sad

Or is it gonna be a change like so far: 1 hard rock album 1 horror album?

Mooney already told what I'm going to say.

I liked the style on Deadache and would have loved another album in that style. But anyway, on Get Heavy were a lot of really good songs including my all-time favourite Devil is a loser. In addition I'm looking forward for this "strong 80's metal feel". 80's metal and Hard Rock is the music I'm listening mostly to in the last time.

Although I feel a bit disappointed about what's going on with Studs and Leathers, I'm absolutely sure you're going the right way, Mr. Lordi.

So, back to Get Heavy style, eh? Not that I would mind, Get Heavy rocks big-time (gotta listen to it). When Lordi said there's gonna be a new producer, I started immediately to take guesses who it might be. (that's so my style) But great to hear, I can hardly wait!♥

Well, time passing, I still can't wait for this new album to come! And after some thought, a throw-back to Get Heavy would be nice. Shame about Studs and Leather though.

We'll see, but I still have 100% faith that guys and gal will deliver another kickass album! Wink

Great to hear, that's it's gonna be GH-style album. Although I would prefer The Arockalypse... let it be.
May I ask some questions:,
1) what was the point to change the producer again?
and
2) How much do you think, that the costumes will change and look different from the Deadache-era ( for example: Get Heavy and TMD-era costumes looked almost the same, not exactly).
