Wow, it's really wonderful to see so many people to be interested in Lordi playing
in such location as Czech Republic...
Btw. :could you someone explain to me, why the hell is 'Manowar' in bigger letters than 'Lordi' !?
I think they have done a mistake in considering the main stars...
No band of the list has greater show than Lordi, does it?

maybe because Manowar is the main headliner... or it's because they are from bigger distance than Lordi, but who knows... (they once played a 5 hour set...) but for us, Lordi is the main headliner
and well... MOR is great festival, so why not be interested? (But Lordi, could come to SR more often... they still played in Czedch Republic more shows than in Slovakia) _________________ Now choose to join us or go straight to hell! |

| even though I prefer Lordi, we just have to admit that manowar has just reached more than Lordi. Also because Manowar is elder and has made more songs. |

You'd be surprised there are just as many people who LOATHE Manowar as those who love them. Manowar goes 1 way or another, in Europe, their adored, America hates their guts. _________________

to martinmaniac:
The qualities of a band shouldn't be considered according to how many songs they have of how long they have lasted for... it's about what are their songs like, how good musicians they are, whether their shows are kickass, what is their appearance in public eye etc.
I wouldn't give a band any extra points for being more known, playing for bigger audiences ...
(well, sorry if I offended somebody, but that's my view of point)
to Nilian:
the distance shouldn't be the reason - but, well, I must admit that their name will maybe catch more people than Lordi's... (hate to tell this, but it seems so ) _________________ OX ROCKS!!!

I think you're right, it really is about Manowar having more fans than Lordi have, but to be honest, I really don't know why...
Their songs aren't bad, but they're less elaborated and sophisticated than Lordi's, I would say...
maybe this is why loads of people like them - because their music is direct and simple (maybe too simple for me, though).
'You know, I think the biggest problem of today's fans is, that they don't wanna think!
They wanna simple lyrics and clear rhytm and that's all for them to be satisfied...
(That's why I like Lordi - great melodies, backing vocals, creative lyrics and balanced sound;
you have to use your brain to catch all of this in the music)! _________________ OX ROCKS!!!

... and I´m happy for that Better chance to be in the front line...
btw. When I read the reactions from people who will go to Masters of Rock then Lordi are very often mentioned as band what they want to see _________________

Like in Wacken in 2008
Somewhere it's a good place but problem is also that for who come by autocar and so on, you need go away before gig is over, mean you can't go at first row and lose a part of concert
But I sincerly hope that no one of the lordi fan should have it _________________ Farewell - no words to say. Oh, Lord why the angels fall first ?

Thanks anushka I was wondering already and looking almost everyday on MOR website, when the program will appear. But do they have Meet&Greet this year? It has been so previous year.
1 hour and 15 minutes is quite long. I hope to hear They Only Come Out At Night there too

Same here. I hoped that Manowar or Accept play after Lordi, so it's better to get away there, because I want to go to the first row. I heard that after last train from Vizovice to (my) hotel arrive 20 minutes after the last band. I wonder how long is the distance between the festival area and train station.... |

@ eesti999: I´m sure there will be meet and greet... or better say signing session. BUT those session would be probably soon before the gig so that´s mean no 1st row. But we will see later. Those times are published just before the festival I don´t have good experience with organizators and meet and greet. I remember during Apocalyptica signing session was allowed to sign only 1 thing and NO photos with boys. I think it´ll be the same with Lordi But I think I´ll not go there. I already have their signatures and better to be in the 1st row... or maybe I will be abolutely somewhere else
And the train is just next the festival area. Maybe 5 minutes walk from stage. So don´t worry
@ Sooophie: What do you mean of the festival is full. If there are still tickets in sale??? Yes, it´s not sold out _________________

Hahahaha One thing... and I was going to order some extra CDs and comic books to get signed, becuase I don't have any autograph, that I have got from signing session. Which is better, to be in the first row (in the last concert with Deadache costumes!!) or get AN autographed letter...

Is that there the festival area and train station on the left? |

Yes, station is on the left. I marked for you the station and the entry. There are two entries but the other one is at the second side of area

SIGNING SESSIONS!!! Lordi gives autographs 21:30 – 22:00 on Sunday, and they perform 22:45-24:00.
So, who's going to signing session? I go, or I have to... a little thing |

There's like 35 °C here and the sun is burning like hell
However, the forecast says there's gonna be occasional showers and storms (more during the weekend) and the temperatures should drop on Sunday (25 °C, 13 °C in the night). So don't forget your sun creams and also something warm for rainy days and cold nights And see you all there, whatever the weather!
Btw. Can you imagine Lordi playing in a storm? Whoa! _________________ Oh Lord, what fools these mortals be... |
