https://www.blabbermouth.net/news/lordi-to-release-seven-new-studio-albums-in-october/

Soooo these 7 albums will be release before the halloween.. And firstly mrL even wanted to release not 7 but 10 albums..

Anyway… I REALLY dunno how the fuck they r gonna do that.. I mean.. 7 albums at the one moment..:
- how much all albums can cost for us, fans
- what with costumes? 7 pieces for each one, smth like they did with monstereophonic when they split costumes into two pieces… but 7 pieces sounds a bit insane.. I hope they have good idea for costumes
- how many music videos? One music video per one album?
- what about gigs? I mean.. There r already soooo many songs ppl wanna hear and now it's even hard to choose how many songs from the new album will be on the setlist…

It's like Lordi in one time can do smth they normally can do in like 14 years?
I think we have soooo maaaany questions yet.. I hope we will get some answers in the near future.. Cuz.. This is just insane as hell

About the costumes... I bet they will keep the current look. They release the albums from the Killection booklet, so they'll probably use these covers which means they don't need new costumes.
My question would be, is it possible to design 7 booklets and pay the production of these? Cause I definitely need the lyrics

I think this might be a really cool idea if they chose the 7 best albums. I wouldn't need The Newborn for example. Then I guess 8 or 9 new songs on each album plus the Killection song.

Maybe they'll perform live gigs via stream instead of touring, now they've tested the waters with Scream Stream.

I'm willing to pay for another streaming event to hear new songs :)

I wonder, if they're releasing the fictional back catalogue of Killection, does that mean that each album will have some tracks that are already on Killection, thus making it kind of obsolete? Since it is a fictional compilation album. I have yet, somehow, to purchase my copy of Killection and if these new albums will all have some tracks that we have already heard, I don't see why I would bother purchasing Killection (other than to have a complete discography collection).

I heard the interview Lordi has posted on facebook. On each of the album there will be 8 or 9 new songs plus the Killection song.
Mr.Lordi mentioned the style of the seven albums and I interpreted that these albums will be released or at least albums from that year:

Naked to live 75
Super fly Trap 79
The newborn 81
Leave full 84
Sane days 89
Nice device 91
Spooky Sextravaganza Spectacular 95

Uhm  ... I don't really know what to think of the new single "Believe Me". I mean... it's not really bad, but it's...weird. I guess it's going to be difficult for me to listen to the SuperFlyTrap album if it's going to be overfilled with disco-centric rock. Hoping the other singles give me something more easier to digest.

Just heard it for the first time. Love the chorus, the pre-chorus, the Keyboard melodies and the solo but as usual when they have a great chorus the verses aren't that strong and the sound could sound more like a remastered 70's song than an original 70's recording but clearly they achieved what they wanted and I'm really happy about the song.

I love the new track, especially the keyboard riff and the chorus! Production is great too, way better than in Zombimbo. BTW here at the bottom of the page is the tracklist for the whole disco album "Superflytrap" which also includes Zombimbo (hopefully re recorded): https://genius.com/Lordi-believe-me-lyrics

Can't wait for the disco album. I'm also curious for the Glam album in the style of Cutterfly, since this is one of their best songs IMO.

I must admit that I’m a bit sceptical of the whole concept of making seven albums at once. I’m slightly concerned that there will be lots of filler songs and, in the worst case, songs that you will hear have potential but just never got worked on properly.

With that said, I do love the new single. I’d say it’s more ABBA than the expected KISS Dynasty sound - and I am HERE for it! The video is one of their best as well, love the style. It’s a bold move to release a disco song as the first single but right now it seems very promising!

So, with the album titles, tracklists and covers revealed I have so many thoughts in my head.

I'm curious why they changed the cover of spooky... into something that doesn't look like that style anymore.

Cool that they included "blow my fuse" and "carnivore"

Some of these titles do not sound very Lordi-ish, some pretty flat word puns which are somehow cool but some of these titles do not sound like horror stories, for some titles I don't know what it means or how to pronounce them. (And do we pronounce "Lordiversity" as Lordi-versity or Lor-Diversity?)

The titles I'm most curious about are:

Day off of the devil
Bella from hell
Cast out from heaven
Gonna do it (or do it and cry)
Moonbeast
Abusement park
Rucking up the party
Humanimal
Abracadaver
Beast of both worlds
Bent outta shape
Killusion

And I really like the cover arts and the fact that there are booklets.

Just woke up and noticed that the track Abracadaver released on Youtube ahead of schedule, along with Beast Of Both Worlds :o .

Both killer tracks. I think I'm going to enjoy the heavy sound of the Abracadaver album a lot 8)

I think the sound isn't as good as "Evil" and the backing vocals could be much louder. I think I prefer Beast of both worlds but on any regular Lordi album I wouldn't really like these songs. And again very short lyrics, no bridges, very simple structure...

I noticed that the new singles sound more like the genre they should be located in as the Killection-song. That makes it interesting how all the other albums sound.

A new single is announced and this place is absolutely quiet. That is sad.

Borderline
Girl in a suitcase

Tomorrow. And it seems that Lordi was fooling us shooting the Borderline video in the abusement park.

Just listened to Borderline and Girl In A Suitcase.

Liked Borderline better but both songs have a nice catch to them and strong choruses. Humanimals seems to really be going for the light sing-a-long choruses that many know Lordi for :D

From "Humanimals"? Mine are probably the following:

1. Be My Maniac
2. Borderline
3. Heart of a Lion

I'm legit in awe of "Be My Maniac". "Deadache" is still my favorite Lordi song, but "Be My Maniac" comes as a very close second. It's almost the best song the band has ever done. Not quite, but damn near almost.

Supernatural, Victims of the romance & Be my maniac

First Lordi album without any song that is below "very good". The only thing I don't really like is that Mr.Lordi's voice is always doubled in all the verses, he sounds a bit hidden. Anyway, I love that album - the huge choruses with those great choirs, melodic solos and the stadium vibe.
But I have to say, I love the whole Lordiversity box. On Masterbeast and Abracadaver are some moments that I don't like that much but I can still enjoy those albums and I was actually prepared to not like them at all but that's not the case.
Spooky really surprised me, some choruses are a bit flat and repetitive but in the end every song is entertaining and Re-animate, Goliath and Terror E-T are some of the best Lordiversity songs.
I also wanna mention Grrr! and Nasty, wild & naughty, which are absolutely perfect to me - Creative, not that short lyrics as on Killection, cool bridges after the second chorus and so catchy.

I'd really like to know, if those >60 songs were the demos for a new 10-12 track Lordi album, which songs they would have chosen...

Damn, Humanimals is one of their best albums! I love how coherent the album is, just like the first 5 lordi albums were. No bad song, although Heart of a Lion and Rucking up the Party are a bit too cheesy for my taste, but they work in the context of the album.
Girl in a Suitcase is everything I love about the band. Catchy 80s stuff with a clever horror story that’s not over the top.
Production is great too.

Super flytrap is also an amazing album from start to finish.

Abracadaver is not my cup of tea, but it’s definitely well executed.

Can’t wait for the other albums. I didn’t get the CD box so I have to wait for the streaming releases. Can somebody tell me whether the box worth it? Are the booklets cool? I still hope for a booklet like the one Babez for breakfast had.

The booklets basically have the lyrics over a one color background and the album title but I like to read all the credits (songwriter, who mastered, who plays what...) and I think the backs of the albums are cool. Still hope for a booklet like Babez, too but paintings like that take time and they needed much more paper which probably is more expensive

I'm really kinda late to the party, but I finally got my copy of "Lordiversity" today. So far I only checked out the songs which had been released on Spotify. But to be honest, I already had a hard time to find a song to truly enjoy back when "Killection" was released. Not saying the songs are bad, but I just don't like this "oldie" touch these songs have. But for what the monsters wanted to achieve I'd say that is absolutely on point and 100% what it's supposed to sound like.

I love how much effort they still put in every of the seven albums again. It's nice to see that the guys weren't affacted in their creative processes by this stupid virus.
Humanimals is definitely my favorite of the albums too. And in my opinion "Borderline" and "Like A Bee To The Honey" are the best songs.

I'm kinda waiting for a modern and a little heavier album again.. Please don't hurt me for saying this
